I’d be happy to do my laundry in that room! It’s very pretty! We just finished a portion of our basement for a laundry room. It’s actually fun to do laundry now and like a little escape. Is that weird?!?! LOL!

Sooooo, let me get this straight... you put cabinets above the w/d, but you're going to store supplies on the shelves across the room only accessible by ladder? And then where do you plan on folding clothes? Your 2 options are putting the pile of clean clothes in front of a shelf where it will probably fall off so you can fold in the middle. Or put your pile in the middle and barely have room in front of the shelves to fold. FLOATING SHELVES, GIRL! FLOATING SHELVES! I get that you're trying to make it look pretty, but form follows function. Especially in such a high use work zone. As long as you're happy, I guess. (I think you'll get tired of it pretty quickly.)

Forgot to mention how I wish you could see my laundry room and show me some tricks in making it a functional place but stylish and to the next level as yours. As I hate doing laundry having the laundry room looking that nice I think It would help me be more productive in the laundry department. And that little blue ginger jar just to die for… I started my collection after starting watching your shows and wish that someday I can purchase some from your house to home store but I am in canada so not sure how would that work 😊

It looks great, reminds me of a summer house on a lake. Your whole house looks like being on holidays. You could use the trash can for the kitchen but it fits perfect in there too. I think the white fits even better as your laundry machine is white. You want a smaller one in blue with a foot opener ? And the open bags for clothes, I used to have that and it didn’t smell bad. Actually the opposite as my cloths are full of perfume. As you are not living with 10 men, who work all day on construction site, I wouldn’t worry about it 😂

The final product was so worth the wait! It looks soooo good. I really didn’t love the tile bc it didn’t seem to work with the wallpaper (just my opinion) but now that you have the shelves styled and just see bits of the tile peeking through I see the vision and I am in LOVE! And to the people that say you did to much on the counters, I disagree. Practicality is important but so is having a space that makes you feel happy and inspired. You can do no wrong! I’ve been with you from house number 1 and your videos are the highlight of my week! Sending love from KS! 🩵

I have a cheap black plastic shelf to hold all the things I keep in my laundry room. It looks nothing like yours. I would break anything glass. And my shelves hold things I use. I have nothing decorative in my laundry room. It would just be a dusty mess. I have a wire shelf that I hang things on and a dryer rack on my wall. I try to only hang things to dry on my rack, I don’t want it to come out of my wall. I have nowhere in my laundry room to fold. The top of the washer. I usually bring it to my dining room table if I have a lot to fold.

I love it. I thought the shelving solution was a creative budget friendly idea. I would secure them somehow tho. It’s pretty and still functional.

You should try to put the shelves hook them to the wall then u can have counter top back.
